Page Management allows content control of every page on the web site. All pages (including home, categories, product pages, checkout pages, shopping cart, etc) are all accessible from this area. Page content and behavior is governed by the Page Templates selected for the page. Due to the flexibility of the page templates, the fields in the page management form could be radically different from page to page.

Page Search Form
The page search form is the starting point for page management. From this form pages can be created (using Add Page button) or found to edit/delete. The form options are dependent on the tools activated on the website. Authors will only be available if publishing information is activated in Settings. Groups are only available if page authentication is activated in Settings.

Note that the page search form will remember you previous search criteria so long as your session remains active. Be sure to clear old search criteria before starting a new search.

Adding / Editing a Page
Add a page by clicking the "Add New Page" button in the page search form. Edit a page by searching for the page in the page search form, than selecting "edit" for the page you wish to manage. The page form will load configured as per the default template. Remember that the fields available in the page management form are dictated by the Page Template selected for the form and by the Page Field tab in Settings.

The page management form will consist of (up to) 5 tabs and buttons to submit, duplicate, delete and preview the page. Use the tabs to set Content (what / how the page displays), Control (when / and who the page will display for), Relationship (what pages / products are children / parents to this page), Functions (Web 2.0 Polls, Forums, Blogs) and more.

Content
The content area controls what will display and how it will display. The fields in this area could drastically vary based on the template selected. Content fields are controlled by Settings and the Page Template. The fields in this area are broken down into three areas:

:*In Page Content: fields that control the content to be show in the page. The template field in this area will select the template that will dictate what content fields are available and how they display / control the output when this page is viewed by visitors.
:*Summary: fields that control the content that will be shown in parent pages, representing this page
:*Searchability: fields that control how this page will be searchable both in the site and by search engines

Control
The control area dictates if/when the page will be available and who can view it. The control elements available are dictated by Settings. Below are all the possible control elements:

:*Availability
::*Home Page: The one page that has this field checked will be the default page visitors will see when hitting the web site
::*Active: Dictates if the page is available to be seen. If deactivated than the page will be hidden.
::*Hide from In Site Searches: If selected, this page will not qualify for in site page searches
::*Start Date / End Date: Sets when the page will be visible. Leave these fields blank to have it available always. Both the active checkbox AND the start/end date frame must be met for the page to show.

:*Access: Select who can view this page. Users must belong to selected groups to have access. This function is only available if Page Authorization is activated in Settings.

:*Event Information: Allows the page to qualify as an event to occur during the date frame entered. If set, than any event / calendar templates created will display the event. This function is only available if Pages as Events is activated in Settings

Relationships
The relationships tab provides the means to view and set the children, products appearing in this page and the parents that will display this page. The relationships area is broken down into four management blocks:

:*Children: Controls child pages that will appear within this page. In category pages, child pages act as subcategories. In product line pages, children act as product pages. In product pages, children act as cross sells / up sells. Selecting children in any page will display the summary content information about those children as dictated by the template of this page (so if the template was not built to accommodate children, none will show even if selected).
:*Parents: Shows pages that have *this* page as a child. When this page is set a child in another page, that other page will appear here as a parent. Likewise all children set in this page will show this page as a parent when managing those child page(s).
:*Search: In conjunction with Custom Search Groups, qualifies this page for custom searches. All custom search groups / options selected here will yield this page (along with other pages with the same group/option selected) when the search is executed.
:*Products: Controls which product(s) will be displayed in this page. For use with product pages. The template selected for this page must support products in order to work.

Items can be added to any of the relationship blocks in 2 ways: by ID or by Keyword (as per the fields above each relationship block).

:*By ID: Enter the "pageId" into the ID field and select "Add" to post a new page to the top of the relationship list.
:*Enter keywords into the keywords field and select "Find" to lookup pages by keyword. A list will be returned of pages qualifying for the search. Check the page(s) you wish to add to the relationship block and hit the "Post" button.

Functions
Web 2.0 functions are controlled here. Web 2.0 functions are only available if selected in Settings. Note that the selected template must support the Web 2.0 function(s) elected here in order for them to display.

:*Forums

Forums allow visitors to 'comment' on this page. Selecting "This page is a forum" will display template driven forum content. The selected template must have forum functionality design into it in order for this function to work.

:*Polls

Polls will display a questionnaire to page visitors. To use, select "This page is a poll". To add a question, select "add poll question"; enter the question into the question field; enter your answers into the answer field (separate by ENTER); and select the answer layout. Repeat for as many questions as you wish to ask in the page. The selected template must be designed to support polls for the poll to display. The template can also be designed to show the poll results upon submission.

:*Blogs

Blogging sets who / how the blogging functionality of the page will work. If the page is selected as a blog, a blogger can be assigned (giving them rights to manage the blog. An entry template can be selected, which is the default page template that will automatically be assigned to blog entries as they are created by the blogger. Blog entries can also selected to be forums, allowing visitors to comment on the blog. The entry template must be designed to display forums for the latter function to work.

Other
:*Caching - if caching is available as per Settings these caching controls will set the page to expire at certain intervals. Note that the engine is intelligent enough to automatically expire pages that have content modified.
:*Page Notes - just for internal purposes, not displayed to visitors.
:*Publishing Information - if available as per Settings than the author, publishing date and publisher can be entered here. This information will only display if the selected template is set up to display publishing information.

Previewing a Page
Click here to see what the page will look like including all changes made thus far but not submitted. Note that changes will not be visible to web site visitors until submitted.

Deleting a Page
Click here to delete the page. A confirmation pop up will verify you want to delete the page. Page deletions are not undoable.

Duplicating a Page
Click here to create a perfect copy of the page. When selected a prompt will pop up asking the title of the page. Upon submission of the prompt, the duplicate page will be added and you will be brought to that duplicate page. Note that when pages are duplicates so are all the relationships, web 2.0 settings and authorized groups.

Product Search / Export Form
The product search form provides site managers with the means to find products in the database or add a new product. The product form allows filtering of products by the following:

The configuration form consists of layout, surface and layer (object) controls. Any number of layouts can be created which can each contain any number of surfaces which can each contain any number of layers. Each of these subforms have fields available as follows:
Layout Form
*Layout Name: Set a unique name for each layout in a product. The visitor will have the option to select from the available layouts before configuring the product.
*Layout Description: Additional details about the layout - use this to describe how the layout differs from other layouts for the product.
*Layout Total Height: In pixels, this value tells the system how much space to reserve on the web page screen to display the configuration (personalization) tool when displaying it to visitors. Build your layout first, then test it and change this value until it fits.
*Layout Image: A preview image of the layout - shown when the visitor is selecting layouts.
Surface Form
*Surface Name: Set a unique name for each surface in a layout. This name will title the surface when the visitor is configuring the layout.
*Surface Description: Use to provide additional details about the surface, where it will be located on the product and how to personalize it.
*Screen Height: Sets the reserved space for for the surface on the web page screen.
*Scale: The scale is used to adjust the layer objects accordingly so they are the correct relative size on the surface. Defaults to 1.0. Adjusting this value will inversely effect the size of all images and text for each layer object on the surface.
Layer (Object) Form
*Layer Object Name: Internal name for the layer - visible to site managers and also used to identify the layer to auto populate from cookie data (i.e. if this is set to "company name" for a product and a value is entered, than all future configurable products with layers named "company name" will be pre-populated with the submitted value). Note that layers will will stack over each other in the order they are listed in the surface - use the up (^) and down (v) arrows next to the layer name to pull the layer forward or push it behind other layers on the surface.
*Title: The title that is displayed to visitors when configuring this layer of the product.
*Layer Object Description: Additional details about the layer for the visitor.
*Layer Type: The layer type dictates what options will be available to manage the layer. Layer types are either "text" (allowing visitors to type in or select from preset text) or "image" (setting a unchangeable image like a background, allowing selection from a preset list of images or allowing the visitor to upload their own image).
:*Fields Shared by All Types: These fields will be available to configure all layer types.
::*X Point: The layer will be anchored on the surface this many pixels from the left edge of the surface.
::*Y Point: The layer will be anchored on the surface this many pixels from the top edge of the surface.
::*Horizontal Alignment: Sets if the anchor point on the layer is the left edge, center or right edge of the layer.
::*Vertical Alignment: Sets if the anchor point of the layer is the top edge, middle or bottom edge of the layer.
:*Fixed Image: Type of layer where an image is set by the site manager and is not adjustable by the visitor.
::*Width: Sets the width of the image - the image will be automatically be resized and scaled to fit this width, if it is over this width.
::*Height: Sets the height of the image - the image will be automatically be resized and scaled to fit this height, if it is over this height.
::*Image Path: Sets the image that will appear. Use the browse button the right of the field to select an image from the image library.
:*User Uploaded Image: Provides the visitor with the means to upload their own image.
::*Width: Sets the maximum width for the image, the image will be resized and scaled down to fit this width if it is larger.
::*Height: Sets the maximum height for the image, the image will be resized and scaled down to fit this height if it is larger.
::*Image Path: Sets the default image (placeholder) that will appear until the user uploads an image. Use the browse button the right of the field to select an image from the image library.
:*Image Library: Provides a list of pre-set images that the visitor can choose from when configuring the product.
::*Width: Sets the maximum width for the image, the image will be resized and scaled down to fit this width if it is larger.
::*Height: Sets the maximum height for the image, the image will be resized and scaled down to fit this height if it is larger.
::*Image / Phrase Library: Sets the list of images that will be available for the visitor. Create and manage these lists via the Content Libraries area of site management.
::*Image Path: Sets the default image or placeholder that will be displayed until the visitor selects an image from the library. Use the browse button the right of the field to select an image from the image library.
Campaigns are groups of banners that will be presented (rotated) together. In many instances a campaign can contain a single banner. You can assign any number of banners to a campaign. In turn you can assign any number of campaigns to a zone.

To add a campaign, select the ‘add campaign’ button from the banner search tool. To edit / delete a campaign, look up the campaign by entering applicable keywords and selecting campaigns from the search type drop down.

The campaign form consists of the following fields:

*Campaign name: sets the name that will appear when the campaign qualifies for a search in the banner search tool and when the campaign is being selected to appear in a zone.
*Advertiser: banners from this selected advertiser may be added to the campaign.
*Notes: internal details / notes about the campaign
*Active: Specifies if the campaign can be displayed or not. If deactivated, the campaign will not display in any of the zones it may be assigned to.
*Campaign Banners: All banners will be listed that belong to the selected advertiser. Only banners with a weighting of more than zero (0) will actually display in this campaign. The weighting dictates the odds of the banner being randomly selected vs other banners in the campaign. Weighting only applies if the campaign belongs to a zone that is set to rotate banners between pages (randomly selected banner appears as each page is loaded, but remains in the page), not within pages (all qualifying banners rotate at a set interval while the page is being viewed). Note that a banner must have a weight of more than zero (0) or the system will drop the banner from the campaign.

Note that creating a campaign with banners does not make it appear on the website. The campaign, with banners assigned, must be assigned to a zone and all four elements must be active (at least one participating banner and it’s advertiser, the campaign and the assigned zone).
The cart report provides a birds-eye view of where visitors abandoning in the purchase process. As this report can be broken down by source code, email campaign and referring web site, this report can be used to view the success/contribution and ROI made by each of these sources. Access the cart report by selecting the 'cart report' link from the administration link list. Note that only administrators and order managers may access this report.

;As this report is a very resource intensive process, it is recommended to run the report off peak hours and to limit the report to one month intervals (using the to and from date options in the report form).

The cart report form provides fields to filter the report results by. Four filter option fields are available:
*From Date: Using this field will only qualify visitor information where the visitor had first visited the site after or during this date.
*To Date: Using this field will only qualify visitor information where the visitor had first visited the site before or during this date.
*Group By: allows results to be organized by source code, email campaign or referring web site to determine contributions originating from these sources.
*Abandon Filter: sets the number of days that will qualify orders for the abandoned cart data column in the right of the form. Example: if set to "3" than all orders that where not completed within three days of starting of the order will qualify for this column in the report.

Submitting the form will return a report showing a birds-eye view of the sales funnel activity through the site. Use this report to identify where most of the website visitors are dropping off in the purchase process -- where efforts should be focused to improve the process. If the 'group by' option is used, individual cart report lines will be provided for each group that qualifies.

Page templates are used to dictate how BOTH the page management forms will operate, and how the content entered into those page management forms will display and behave to site visitors. Campaign management allows privileged system administrators to create, distribute and monitor email campaigns. For email campaigns to be available, they must be activated in settings. Additional server configuration, including SMTP server setup, scheduled distribution tasks, etc, are required in order for campaign management to operate. Consult an experienced integrator before turning on and operating campaign management.

To send an email campaign, we must create a datasource, a campaign using the datasource, than distribute the campaign.

Datasources
About Datasources
Datasources provide the target recipients to the campaign. A datasource could be a list of email addresses you provide, or acquired from the web site. Several datasources come included with the ecommerce engine upon installation. Additional datasources require creation by an experienced integrator. Once a datasource is created, it is reusable – and each time it is used, the datasource acquires current target recipients that fit the datasource’s criteria.

Managing Datasources
Campaign datasources should only be added and modified by experienced system administrators. Please contact your website integrator to add or change any datasources.

To view and manage datasources, select "Campaign Datasources". A list of current datasources will be displayed. Select 'edit' next to any datasource to view / manage the datasource. Select 'Test' next to any datasource to view a sample of it's recipients. You can also add a new campaign datasource by selecting the 'add new campaign datasource' link.

Campaign Management
About Campaign Management
Campaign management provides the means to create and modify content that can be distributed to email recipients. To manage campaigns, select the 'Campaigns' link. A list of all current campaigns and a link to add a new campaign will be displayed.

Adding/Editing a Campaign
To add a campaign, select the "Add a New Campaign" link. To edit a campaign, select "Edit" next to the campaign you wish to manage. The campaign management form will be displayed. The campaign management form contains the following fields:

*Campaign Name: For internal reference only - this is the name that will be displayed when searching for campaigns or viewing campaign related reports.
*Datasource: the datasource controls the target recipients for the campaign. See datasources above for more information.
*From Address: The email address that will be displayed to recipients in the from field.
*Return Address: If the email bounces, this the the email address that will receive the bounce information.
*Reply To Address: If a recipient choses to reply to the email, this is the email address the reply will go to.
*Message Subject: The subject of the message as displayed in the subject field to recipients of the message.
*HTML Page: Select a page, as created in Page Management to distribute to the recipients. If this field is empty ("Select a page" is selected) than the message body below will be sent to the recipients.
*Message Body: if not HTML page is selected, the contents of this field will be sent as the body of the email to recipients. The content of this field can be plain text or HTML. If you choose to enter HTML into this field, be sure to check "HTML Format" to ensure message recipients see the email rendered as HTML.

Note that the subject and message body can use variables to display limited dynamic content. Be default, {emailAddress} is available by placing {emailAddress} (with the brackets) into the subject or the message body, the recipients email address will be displayed. Other variables available are controlled by the datasource. Check the datasource information or ask your integrator about what what variables are available, or to make additional variables available.

After you are completed entering / changing the content of the campaign form, select the 'post changed' button at the bottom of the form to commit the changes to the database.

Preview the message
To preview what the message will look like to the recipients, select the 'preview' link next to the campaign in the campaign listing.

Send a test message
To send a test message, click 'send a test' link next to the campaign in the campaign listing. Enter your email address into the form and click the 'send' button. You should receive the email shortly.

Campaign Distribution
To distribute a campaign, select the 'send to *datasource*' link (where datasource is the name of your selected datasource for this campaign) in the campaign listing. You will be asked to confirm that you want to distribute this campaign.

The size of the campaign recipient list will effect how long the system will take to distribute to all the recipeints in the campaign. You can view the progress of the campaign distribution via the campaign report.

Campaign Reporting
Campaign reporting allows you to monitor the progress of a campaign distribution and it's activity up to and including resulting visits back to the web site originating from the campaign. Additional reporting information on the campaign (including purchase activity) can be found using the Cart Report.

To view a campaign report, select "View Report" next to the campaign in the campaign listing. For each individual send of the campaign, the resulting report will provide the following:
*Emails Queued: The number of emails waiting in the system the be sent out. This will build gradually once a campaign has been distributed.
*Emails Sent: The number of emails sent out to recipients.
*Emails Viewed: The number of emails opened by recipients (note this only works with HTML formatted emails).
*Click Thrus: Number of recipients who clicked through from the email to the website.

Campaign subscribers provides the means to look up, add, edit and delete email campaign subscribers. Select the 'campaign subscribers' link from the administration link list to access campaign subscribers. Users must be administrators or campaign managers to have access to this area.

A subscriber in the system has not necessarily completed the subscription process. Once a web site visitor has submitted their email address, they exist in the subscriber database, even if they have not completed the double opt in process or they have elected to unsubscribe. Note that the default email campaign datasource will only send emails to subscribers that have completed the subscription process and not unsubscribed. Subscribers can exist in one of the following states:
*Subscribed: The subscriber has completed the subscription process (double opted in, if the system is set as double opt in) and will receive email campaigns sent using the default campaign subscriber datasource.
*Pending Subscribed: Subscribers that have registered on the website, but have not responded to the double opt in email. These email addresses will not receive email campaigns sent using the default campaign subscriber datasource.
*Unsubscribed: Email addresses that have completed the unsubscription process (including the double opt out email response, if the system is set as double opt in). These email addresses will not receive email campaigns sent using the default campaign subscriber datasource.
*Pending Unsubscribed: Email addresses that have requested to be removed from the system via the website, but have not responded to the unsubscribe verification email. If these emails have completed the subscription process beforehand, they will continue to receive email campaigns via the default campaign subscriber datasource until they complete the verification email instructions.

Campaign Subscribers Search Form
The campaign subscriber search form provides the means to look up existing subscribers or add a new subscriber. The subscriber search form provides the ability to filter subscribers by email address, subscription status and date subscribed. Selecting the "search" button will return all subscribers that fit the search criteria. Sort the returned subscribers by clicking the column headers. Manage the subscribers (edit, delete) by selecting the edit link in the right column of a subscriber.

Campaign Subscriber Management Form
Adding a Campaign Subscriber
To create a new subscriber, select the 'add a new subscriber' button in the campaign subscriber search form. You will be presented with an empty subscriber management form. See the above campaign subscriber management form section for details on how to use the form.

Editing a Campaign Subscriber
To edit a subscriber, select the 'edit' link in the right column in the row of the desired subscriber. You will be presented with the subscriber management form filled in with the information on the selected subscriber. See the above campaign subscriber management form section for details on how to use the form.

Deleting a Campaign Subscriber
To edit a subscriber, select the 'edit' link in the right column in the row of the desired subscriber. You will be presented with the subscriber management form filled in with the information on the selected subscriber. Select the 'delete' button on the bottom of the form to delete the subscriber. A confirmation message will pop up verifying you wish to delete the subscriber - confirm the deletion.

Exporting Subscribers
The system offers the means to export subscribers to an excel spreedsheet. The same campaign subscriber search form is used to perform this. Enter your search criteria and select the 'export to excel' button. Instead of the web page loading with the results, you will be prompted to download the results. Confirm you want to download the result. When Excel opens to display the results you may be presented with a security warning - select to continue.

Menu Management allows content managers to manage the C-nav menu links (tabs, category links and whatnot) for the entire site (or sub/boutique site), from one centralized location. Any number of menus can be created, but only one can be activated at a time (unless you opt to use multiple menus to support subordinate or boutique sites). Each menu can support any number of links. Please keep in mind that design / layout requirements may result in limitations to the number of links that can be gracefully presented in a particular menu location.

The Menu Management Page
The menu management page contains four sections, three of which are contained in the menu management form.
#Menu Listing: located to the left of the menu forms with links to each menu stored in the system and a link to create a new menu
#Menu Settings: located at the top of the menu form with controls to set the name of the menu and select if it is the default menu
#Menu Item Fields: located in the middle of the form with fields to control a new, or select, menu item
#Menu Item Listings: located at the bottom of the menu form listing all the items contained in each of the four menu locations

The Menu Listing
The menu listing is located to the left of the menu form. All menus stored for the web site will be listed, each with the following information:
*Menu name: the name as set in the menu name field of the menu form
*The user whom created the menu
*The number of page templates currently assigned to the menu (note that this count includes only page templates directly assigned to a menu - the default menu would be utilized by all page templates that are set to used the default menu)
*A link to delete the menu (this link is not available to the default menu)
A link to create a new menu will be located at the bottom of the menu listing.

The Menu Form: Menu Settings
The menu settings are located at the top of the menu form. This area contains two fields:
*Menu Name: sets the name of the menu, as it appears in both the menu listing and in the menu selection field of Page Template Management
*Default Menu: selects if the current menu is the default menu or not. The default menu will be used by all Page Templates that have 'default menu' selected in the menu drop down field of the Template Management Form.

The Menu Form: Item Fields
The item fields control a single menu item. Selecting an item from the item listings would set the item fields to control the selected item. Otherwise the item fields would be set to create a new menu item. The following fields / controls are available in item fields:
*Item Text: Sets the text that displays as the menu item
*Item Link: Sets the URL link that the web page visitor is directed to when selecting the item text
*Test Button: Clicking this button will open a new window displaying the URL link that is in the Item Link field for testing
*Find Link Button: Opens a pop up window with a search tool to find a page on the web site to link to
*Location: Chooses which of the four menu locations (top, left, bottom, right) the menu item will be assigned to
*New Window: If selected, and the template is built to support this feature, selection of the item by a site visitor will open the item link in a new browser window
*Edit/Add button: submits the form and sets or adds the menu item in the menu item listing. Note if this button is displaying 'edit' than the form is set to CHANGE an existing menu item link, otherwise if the button displays 'add' it is set to add a new menu item to the bottom of the selected Location item list.
*Cancel button: clears the item fields. Also sets the form to 'add' mode (to add a new menu item) if the form was in 'edit' mode when the cancel button was selected.

The Menu Form: Menu Item Listings
The menu item listings display all current menu items set up for the menu being managed.

This area will contain up to four columns for each of four different menu locations: Left; Top; Bottom and; Right. Which menu locations are available are dependent on how the Page Template displaying the menu was designed and built - meaning if the Page Template(s) where not designed with a specific menu in option, the items assigned to that menu in this form will not display on the page. Occasionally menu locations could have alternate meanings - for instance if the top menu of the page contains a row of tabs and a row of links, the creator of the Page Template(s) could assign the right menu to the row of links - this information will be disclosed to the web site content manager upon completion of the Page Template(s).

The menu items are re-arrangeable via a drag-and-drop interface. Select any listed menu item box (anywhere except of a link inside of the box) and drag it to the desired location to move it. Each menu item will be equipped with the following links to manage the item:
*x: deletes the menu item
*&lt;: promotes a menu item
*&gt;: demotes a menu item
*Edit: by clicking the menu item name, the item fields will be set in 'edit' mode to edit the selected item.

;Item promotion and demotion
Item promotion and demotion provides added controls to support tiered menus. If the Page Template(s) are designed and built with the intention of displaying tiered menus, the promotion &lt; and demotion &gt; links can be used to set the menu item on the appropriate tier. Demoting an item sets it to a lower tier while promoting the item sets it to an upper tier. If the web site is designed with tiered menu support, your integrator will provide you with directions on how to use these tiered menu tools and how they will effect the presentation of your web pages.

The Menu Form: Previewing and Saving Changed
At the bottom of the menu form are post menu and preview menu buttons. When you are completed changing your menu, select the post menu button to save the menu:
;NOTE: NONE of your menu changes will be saved UNTIL you click the "post menu" button at the bottom of the menu
You may preview your menu before saving the changes by entering a pageId into the "pageId" field and selecting the "Preview" button.

Adding a New Menu
To add a new menu, select the "Add a new menu" link at the bottom of the menu listing to the left of the menu form. You will be presented with a clear menu form to begin creating your menu. When you are complete, be sure to select the 'post menu' button at the bottom of the form or your menu will not be saved.

Editing a Menu
To edit a menu, click the menu name in the menu listing to the left of the menu form. The menu form will populate with the selected menu. When you are complete, be sure to select the 'post menu' button at the bottom of the form or your menu will not be saved. Note that saving a menu you are editing will overwrite that menu.

Deleting a Menu
To delete a menu, click "DELETE" link under the menu name in the menu listing to the left of the menu form. Note that the default menu cannot be deleted - you must set another menu as the default to enable deletion for a default menu.

The file management library provides site managers a centralized location to manage all uploaded files (images, documents, spreedsheets, etc) throughout the web site in other management components. This file library is accessible via the "file library" link in the site administration link list and from any area in site management where a file is to be selected. The file library is a stand alone pop up window - so be sure you allows pop ups for your website or this tool will not work correctly.

The file library file manager pop up is broken down into three main areas: The action bar, access links, preview pane and the folder / file list.

Action Bar
The action bar, located on the top row of the pop up, provide the following tools:
*Selected Folder: Displays the absolute path to the folder currently selected.
*Create Folder: Creates a new folder inside of the folder currently selected.
*Upload: Opens the file upload tool which allows you to upload multiple files at a time to the folder currently selected.
*New File: Creates a new blank file in the current folder.
*Refresh: displays the latest contents of the folder currently selected.
*Image Manager: switching to Image Manager mode allowing management of images via a thumbnail preview model. See the Image Library for how to operate using this model.

Access Links
The access links, located in the left column of the pop up, provides easy access to the root folder(s), history (last folders viewed in chronological order) and favorites (as selected via the management options for the file). When a folder is selected, it's contained sub-folders and files will also appear in the folder / file list area to the right of the access links.

Preview Pane
The preview pane, located below the access links in the left column, provides a quick preview of any file in the folder / file listing, by clicking the file name. From the preview pane, you can select to:
*Insert: if the file library was accessed via a file field in another area of administration, selecting Insert will place this file in the calling file field.
*Download: downloads the file to your local computer.
*View: opens the file in it's native program to be viewed.

Folder / File List
The folder / file list, located to the right of the access links, displays the current contents of the selected folder. Selecting a folder from this listing will open that folder's contents in the folder / file list. Selecting a file will open the file in the Preview Pane. Right clicking a file or folder will give you the following management options:
*Add Favorite: places the file or folder into your favorites, accessible by clicking favorites in the access links left of the folder / file list.
*Cut: Removes the folder / file, holding it in memory to be pasted in another folder location.
*Copy: Copies the folder / file to memory to be pasted in another folder location.
*Paste: Pastes the current folder / file placed in memory via Cut or Copy.
*Rename: Renames the folder / file.
*Delete: removes the folder / file from the system.
*Zip: creates a zipped version of the folder / file in the current folder.

Landing pages allow site managers to set certain pages to be the 'home page' for web site users based on custom field values set in the user's accounts (see Settings > users > custom user fields for how to set up these fields). Landing page management is accessed by clicking the 'landing pages' link in the site administration link list. Note that only administrators and user managers have access to manage landing pages.

Prerequisites
In order to set a landing page that will work, three requirements need to be completed:
#Set up user custom fields in Settings, the contents of which will be used to select the landing page.
#Have your integrator set up the custom field(s) in the user creation and user management forms.
#Create the target landing page in Pages Management just like creating any other page.
Once the above three are completed, the landing page can be set. This is the process of 'linking' the page to certain values being selected in the custom fields.

URL Mapping allows you to 'point' any URL under your domain name to any page you in your web site you wish. Basically you can create alias URLs for any page in the web site. This is useful for creating search engine friendly URLs, maintaining legacy URLs when switching from an old web site engine or just creating easy-to-remember URLs for your web site visitors.

Access URL Mapping by selecting "URL Map" from the administration links. The URL Map search form will display. From this form you can look up URL Maps to edit/delete them or add a new URL Map.

Searching URL Maps
The "URL Map Search" Form provides the means to look up existing URL Maps. The "From URL" and "To Page Keywords" will perform partial matches, so all URLs that contain the entered value will be returned. The From and To Dates will qualify any URL Map created between the two dates entered.

Selecting the "Search" button will return all URL Maps fitting the search criteria. Edit and delete links are provided next to each URL Map returned for managing the URL Map.

Adding a New URL Map
Select the "Add New URL Map" button from the URL Map search form. The "Adding New URL Map" form will display. See the below "URL Map Form" information for how to correctly fill in the form.

Editing a URL Map
Use the "Searching URL Maps" instructions above to find the URL Map you wish to edit. Select the "edit" link next to the target URL Map to open the "Editing URL Map" form. See the below "URL Map Form" information for how to use this form.

URL Map Form
Weather adding or editing a URL Map, you will be provided the URL Map form.
The URL Map form contains the following fields:
*From URL: The source URL you are creating as an alias. Enter the source URL without the domain or preceding slash: example: entering "AboutUs" into the From URL field will alias "http: //www.yourwebsite.com/AboutUs".
*To Page ID: The target pageId you want to display when the alias URL is entered.
*To URL: For more complicated target URLs (that contain query string information other than the pageId), enter the full absolute target URL. Do not include the domain name, but do include the proceeding slash: example: "/index.php?pageId=123&var=1&var2=x".

You may use EITHER the "To Page ID" field or the "To URL" field, but not both. Use the "To Page ID" field if you are simply forwarding to a page without any additional query string information. Use "To URL" if you require a target page that needs additional query string information.

;URL Map additions and changes are implemented immediately upon submission. Test your mapping as soon as you set it up.

>Currently building automated installation package.

Below is the manual process until the package is operational.

File Upload
FTP The entire site file content to the target root of the web site

Web Server Setup
;Windows IIS
*Open 'computer management' (right click 'my computer' and select manage)
*Expand Computer Management > Services and Applications > Internet Information Services > Web Sites
*Right click 'Web Sites' and select 'New Web Site'. When the 'Web Site Creation Wizard' opens, click 'Next'.
*Enter the site name (use a test subdomain if you do not want to interrupt a site currently using the domain i.e.: test.yourdomain.com instead of www.yourdomain.com). Next.
*Set the IP address to that given by your Hosting ISP (ask you ISP if you do not know what that is), leave TCP port to 80 and set Host Header to the domain/subdomain you selected in the previous step. Next.
*In the Path field browse to the folder you FTPd all the site files too, than hit OK. Leave allow anonymous access to this website on. Next.
*Select Read and Run scripts. Next. Finish.
;Linux Apache 2+
*Open /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
*Add the following 404 error document line (remove the existing one first, if present) - this sets the index.php as the default 404 error document which will kick in url_map/title page access when appropriate.
;;;ErrorDocument 404 /index.php
*Add the following documentRoot line (remove the existing one first, if present)
;;;DocumentRoot /path/to/your/website
:::where "/path/to/your/website" is the absolute path from the root of the server drive to the folder containing the website. Usually "/var/www/html/www.yoursitedomain.com" where yoursitedomain is the domain name of your site.
*Modify the &lt;Directory&gt; tag value to:
;;;&lt;Directory "/path/to/your/website"&gt;
:::where "/path/to/your/website" is the absolute path from the root of the server drive to the folder containing the website. Usually "/var/www/html/www.yoursitedomain.com" where yoursitedomain is the domain name of your site.
*Add the following directoryIndex line (remove the existing one first, if present)
;;;DirectoryIndex index.php

Setup DNS
Call your Hosting ISP for specific instructions on how to set up DNS for your web site.
You can setup your local HOSTS file (located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc on a windows client) so that your web browser will resolve the domain to the web server until DNS is set and propigated. Follow instructions in the HOSTS file to add a line for your domain / web server IP address.

Database Setup
*NOTE: If on linux you find you cannot create databases (err 103), it's most likely a permissions issue, run the following shell command in linux:
;;;chown mysql\:mysql /var/lib/mysql
*Backup the latest database version at the commend prompt in windows / shell in linux: (substitute m.d.y with current month.day.year; substitute "username" with the root user name):
<source lang="dos">mysqldump -u username -p iproductsbase > iproductsbase.m.d.y.sql</source>
*FTP the backup to the new server
*Create the database on the new server in mysql (substitute "databasename" with the name you wish to call the database):
<source lang="mysql">
Create database databasename;
</source>
*move the files into the database at the command prompt in windows / shell in linux (substitute "databasename" for the newly create database name; substitute 'username' for the root user; substitute "m.d.y" for the month.day.year in the iproductsbase backup file name):
<source lang="dos">mysql -u username -p databasename < iproductsbase.m.d.y.sql</source>
*Create a database user account with the appropriate access in mysql (substitute "newusername" with your website database username you wish; substitute "databasename" with the name of the database you created for the site; substitute "password" with your password of choice):
<source lang="mysql">GRANT CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES, DELETE, INSERT, LOCK TABLES, SELECT, UPDATE ON databasename.* TO 'newusername'@'localhost' identified by 'password';</source>
*Point to the appropriate database in the appGlobals.php file (located in the root of the website). Change the following code (located at the beginning of the file) by filling in your "databasename", "username" and "password" for database access:
<source lang="php">
$iProducts['dbUser'] = "username";
$iProducts['dbPassword'] = "password";
$iProducts['dbDatabase'] = "databasename";
</source>

Scheduled Task Setup
All core scheduled tasks are executed by the following file located in the root of the website:
/taskScheduler.php

;For linux servers
Setup the below cron jobs:
<pre>
* * * * * /usr/bin/lynx -source http://www.websitedomainname.com/taskScheduler.php
* 1 * * * root ntpdate 0.pool.ntp.org
</pre>
*The first cron job calls the task scheduler every minute. Change "www.websitedomainname" to match the domain name of your website.
*The second cron job ensures the system clock is accurate.
*Add the following 3rd cron job line if using EBO (TEM by Fiddlehead):
<pre>
*/10 * * * * . /path/to/website/root/folder/ebo/xmlExporter.sh >> /dev/null 2>&1 # TEM XML Exporter
</pre>
Replace "/path/to/website/root/folder/" with the path to the website root folder on your server

Directory Setup
;Images and Files
Create a root folder for the images and files to be used by the image and file management libraries. They can be in root of the website (/images, /files), in a common directory (/library/images, /library/files) or even within each other (/files, /files/images). These folders will need to be entered into the site settings when later configuring the website via the administration console.

;Clear and Set Parsed
*Delete contents of /parsed (located in the root of the web site)
*Set parsed for full access (linux > chmod 777 parsed)

MySQL Configuration
;Open the config file
*Look for my.ini in Windows (usually located in the C:\Program Files\MYSQL folder)
*Look for my.conf in Linux (usually located in the /etc folder)

;Perform the following to the config file
*Set group concat length
::group_concat_max_len=32768
*Set Sort Buffer
::sort_buffer_size=1M
*Turn on Query Caching:
::query_cache_type=1
::query_cache_limit=1M
::query_cache_size=32M
*Set Max Connections:
::max_connections=1000
*Reduced wait_timeout to prevent idle clients holding connections.
::wait_timeout=15
::connect_timeout=10
*Reduced key buffer it by checking current size of *.MYI files, see notes below. Recommended to set between 1/4 - 1/2 total server memory
::key_buffer=1024M
*thread_concurrency = 2 * (no. of CPU)
::thread_concurrency=4
*The default is 64. Each time MySQL accesses a table, it places it in the cache. If the system accesses many tables, it is faster to have these in the cache. Check opened tables and adjusted accordingly after running for a while.
::table_cache=1024
*MyISAMCHK sort_buffer: The sort_buffer is very useful for speeding up myisamchk operations (which is why it is set much higher for that purpose in the default configuration files), but it can also be useful everyday when performing large numbers of sorts.
::sort_buffer=64M
*If you have a busy server that's getting a lot of quick connections, set your thread cache high enough that the Threads_created value in SHOW STATUS stops increasing. This should take some of the load off of the CPU.
::thread_cache=128
*tmp_table_size:: "Created_tmp_disk_tables" are the number of implicit temporary tables on disk created while executing statements and "created_tmp_tables" are memory-based. Obviously it is bad if you have to go to disk instead of memory all the time. 32M by default.
::tmp_table_size=128M
*log slow queries is a must. Many queries that take more than 2 seconds. If so, then your tables need enhancement. Be sure to create log file and set rights so mysql can manage the file.
::log_slow_queries=/var/log/mysql/mysqld.slow.log
::long_query_time=2
*read_buffer_size=128K by default.
Mail Order Manager Integration
If integrating with MOM (Mail Order Manager), a scheduled task needs to be setup on the windows server that is hosting MOM.

First set up the import environment. Do this by creating the following directory structure (location doesnt matter, so long as the following structure exists):
/MOM_INT/
/MOM_INT/logs/
/MOM_INT/imports/
/MOM_INT/importBackups/
/MOM_INT/exports/
/MOM_INT/exceptionreports/
/MOM_INT/orderImportIncremental.vbs

Ensure BOTH MOM and the scheduled task running "orderImportIncremental.vbs" have ALL access rights to /MOM_INT and all subfolders.

Place the following visual basic code into the /MOM_INT/orderImportIncremental.vbs file (Change the "URL" attribute to use the domain name of your web site):

<source lang="asp">
' init attribs
Dim fileName
Dim URL

' set the URL of your web site here!!!!!
URL = "http://www.yourwebsitedomain.com/index.php?fa=ORDER.orderExportMOM_5_4&dBug=0&onlyNotSent=1&markAsSent=1"

' increase timeout for script processing
WScript.Timeout = 270

' access file system
Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Table Fixes for Linux
On linux run the following to fix the case of the table names.

This is necessary because Windows makes the table names lower case, regardless of specifying upper case letters in the table names. Since the starting database is being transferred from a windows box, the table names will be set to lower case by windows. The linux file system is case sensitive, meaning that if a script calls for the table using any upper case letters where the table name is stored as lower case, it will not find the table. To correct this, the below commands need to be run in order to change the table names to their correct case.

The following commands need to be run in mysql. This can be done by logging on to SSH for the server housing the database than logging into mysql on that server. The below commands can all be run by copying the entire command list and pasting it into your ssh session while in the mysql prompt.

Email DNS Settings
The following settings will allow emails sent from the server to avoid spam filters. This is to fulfill the three-way mail check. To do this we need the name the server identifies itself as (258258-web1.greatgardenplants.com) to resolve both forward and backward. That is, the IP address of the server needs to resolve to 258258-web1.greatgardenplants.com and the name 258258-web1.greatgardenplants.com resolves to the IP address of the server (204.232.239.36).
From linux shell type the following to see what the server identified itself as:
#hostname

First, create a PTR record with the server hosting company pointing the IP address used to send email to the server name subdomain.

Second, a subdomain has to be created with the domain name registrar. This subdomain needs to match the server name (#hostname) and resolve to the IP address that will be sending outbound mail.

>Advertisers are the means of grouping the banners by ownership. Each banner must belong to an advertiser. If your site is offering ad space to outside organizations, each advertiser could represent an organization advertising on your site. Many content managers will use advertisers as a means to organize their own internal ads, grouping them by ad category.

To add an advertiser, select the “Add Advertiser” button in the banner search box. To edit / delete and advertiser, search for advertisers by entering appropriate keywords and selecting “advertisers” from the search type drop down box. All advertisers fitting your search criteria will be returned. To view or edit an advertiser, select ‘edit’ next to it.

The advertiser form includes the following fields:

*Advertiser Name: Used for tracking purposes – whenever you look up advertisers or select an advertiser for a banner, the name given here will show.
*Notes: Internal information about the advertiser – just for your, and other content manager’s information.
*Active: Turns on or off the advertiser and it’s banners.

Note that if an advertiser is set as inactive, none of that advertiser’s banners will display on the site.

>User Management allows administrators to look up, add, edit and delete users. Select 'users' from the administration console options to open the user search form. Any user with a login will be accessible and manageable via user management - this includes site administrators, content managers and even web site visitors with user accounts. User management can be used to control user rights to web site administrative functions or access to controlled content (if the website is built to utilize page authorization).

User Search Form
The user search form provides the means to look up existing users and to add new users. To add a new user, select the "Add New User" button from this form. To find a user to edit, use the user search form to designate filters and select the 'search' button. The following fields are available to filter the user search results:
*First Name: the first name of the user
*Last Name: the last name of the user
*From Date: will qualify only users that where created following the date entered here. Format of the date is "MM/DD/YYYY".
*To Date: will qualify only users that where created preceding the date entered here. Format of the date is "MM/DD/YYYY".
*Email: will qualify only users that have the email address entered here.
*Active Status: will qualify only users that are 'active' (yes) or 'inactive' (no). Leaving this field to 'All' will qualify all users regardless if they are activated or not.
*Groups: selecting one or more groups from this listing will only qualify users that belong to the selected group(s).

User Search Results
Submitting the user search form will return a listing of users that qualify for the filter criteria. Sort the results by selected the column headers. If more than 25 users are found fitting your criteria, you will be provided with links to page through these users. Select the edit link next to any user to view/modify the user.

User Management Form
The user management form is used to add, edit or delete a user. The form is broken down into four types of fields: core user fields, custom user fields, group membership and addresses.
;Be sure to select the "Post Changes" button at the bottom of the form following your user changes to commit the modifications to the database

Core user fields
The core user fields will be available to all web sites in user management. They are as follows:
*First Name
*Last Name
*Email Address: also used by the user as their login, this must be unique for every account.
*Password / Confirm Password: use to set the password for the user - leave these blank in order to not change the password
*Password Hint
*Company
*Title
*Handle
*User Image
*User Notes
*Admin Notes

Custom user fields
Any number of custom fields can be created for use in the user management form. User custom fields are created and controlled in settings. All custom fields are visible and manageable in the user management form. Since custom fields can be set to appear before or after any core field, the custom fields could be sprinkled anywhere in the user management form.

Group membership
Group membership controls what groups the user belongs to. Groups can provide management privileges (administrators, page managers, etc - designated in created in Groups and given privileges via settings) or can provide access to secured pages (if page authorization is enabled in settings). The user belongs to the groups under 'Member of'. To place the user into a group, select the group from the 'Groups Available' list and click the "-&gt;" button. To remove the user from a group, select the group from the 'Member of' listing and click the "&lt;=" button

Addresses
To the right of the address form is a list of current addresses set for the user. Select the edit link above any address to open the address edit form for that address. An "add new address" link is provided to create a new address. Note that changes to these addresses will not effected addresses in completed orders - they need to be managed in the Orders area.

Adding a User
To add a new user, select "Add New User" button from the User Search form. A new user form will open. See User Management Form above for additional details on the fields in the form.

Editing a User
To edit a user, first look up the user using the User Management form (see above for details), then select the edit link next to the desired user. The user form will open populated with information about the selected user. See User Management Form above for additional details on the fields in the form.

Deleting a User
To edit a user, first look up the user using the User Management form (see above for details), then select the edit link next to the desired user. The user form will open populated with information about the selected user. Click the 'delete' button at the bottom of the form to delete the user. A confirmation pop up will verify that you want to delete the user - select ok to execute the deletion.

Adding a User Address
To add a new address, select the 'add new address' link to the right of the user form. The address management form will open.

>The Forums area allows moderators to look up and manage forum posts.

To create and modify forum pages go to Pages.

To set if forums are available and how they operate go to Settings, web 2.0 tab.

The forums area begins with the forum post search form. From this form you can lookup forum posts by page id & keywords (page containing the forum post), by forum id & keywords, forum post date, user information and forum post status (approved or unapproved). Most of the time you will be looking up posts by the post status - as all new posts will be filed under unapproved - so this is an easy way to see all new postings are pending approval. Submitting the forum post form returns a list of all forum posts that fit your search criteria.

From the forum post list you can edit the post, delete the post, edit the user (if the forum is posted by a logged in user) and change the approval status. All visible posts on a page can be selected as approved/unapproved - clicking 'apply approval changes' will set all visible posts to the selected approval status.

Selecting to edit a post will open the post management form. From this form you can change the title, content and approval status.
